The “security circles” are groups of 3 to 5 trusted individuals that can be created by each member of the trust. Their function is to secure the currency by building a global trust graph that can prevent “malicious users” from execute fraudulent transactions (scams).

While cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin secure their ledger by forcing those who “extract” to consume energy (as evidence of the work being done), it does so when its members act as guarantors for other members.
