Pioneer.
FOUR ROLES WHICH CAN PI USERS USE- AS PIONEERS
A user of the Pi application who simply confirms daily that he is not a “robot”. This user validates their presence each time they log on to the application. It can also use the app to do transactions (e.g., pay with Pi to another Pioneer)

Contributor.
A Pi application user who helps provide a list of Pioneers he knows and trusts. Overall, Contributors of Pi will create a global trust chart.
Ambassador.
A user of the Pi application that introduces other users to the Pi network.
Node.
A Pioneer Contributor user who uses the Pi application and also runs the Node (node) software on his desktop or laptop computer. Pi node software (node Pi software) is the software that executes the main SCP algorithm, taking into account the information of the trust graphs provided by Contributors.
A user can select more than one of the above roles. All roles are essential, so all roles are rewarded at Pi on a daily basis as long as they participate and contribute during the day. In the loose definition of a “miner” who is the user who receives coins as a reward for his contributions, the four above roles are considered as the miners of Pi. “Mining” is defined as a broader concept than its traditional meaning, which is equivalent to executing a Proof of Work algorithm such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
First of all, we should point out that the Pi Node software has not been released yet. Thus, this module is best offered as an architectural plan and intended to get feedback from the technical community. This software will be fully open source and will also depend heavily on Stellar Core which is also open source software available here. This means that anyone in the community will be able to read, comment and suggest improvements to it.
